L. A. Guitar School, owned by Lee Barfield, has been providing guitar lessons in Tamworth since 1995. Lee’s journey with music began at a young age, and he pursued formal training at the Institute of Contemporary Music and Performance in London. Over the years, he has taught over 40,000 lessons to students of all ages and levels, helping them develop their skills and build confidence.

Lee’s teaching approach focuses on personalized instruction tailored to each student’s individual goals and abilities. He offers guidance and support, helping students learn at their own pace in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether a student is a total beginner or an experienced player, Lee can help unlock their musical potential by building fretboard knowledge and enabling them to understand chords and scales.

He also offers RSL guitar exams for students seeking certification, with Grade 6 and above being accredited by UCAS as equivalent to GCSE and A-Level.
