Mark, the founder of Join The Band, discovered his passion for guitar at age 10 after seeing Paul McCartney play a Hofner bass. He honed his skills at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, specializing in rock, blues, and jazz, before returning to Vancouver to share his comprehensive knowledge. His unique approach combines individual instruction with a “rock band” experience, allowing students to apply their skills in a collaborative setting. Mark is passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians and has successfully guided over 100 students through his program, cultivating both musical prowess and a love for performance.
