1BillsMusicLessons is led by Billy Schleifer, a professional musician and graduate of the Berklee College of Music. Based in Sherman Oaks, he brings 20 years of industry experience to his students, including 15 years as a private music instructor. His background covers a wide range of musical projects, including work with artists signed to major labels like UMG and EPIC.

Teaching at this studio focuses on helping students become well-rounded musicians. Instead of just learning an instrument, students learn to understand, create, and produce music. Lessons are customized to fit the unique needs and goals of each student, ensuring they gain confidence and a solid foundation in music theory and performance.

Students can choose from in-home, in-studio, or online lessons. The curriculum includes guitar and bass instruction, music production, songwriting, and ear training. Additionally, musicians can receive guidance on the music business to help them turn their creative work into a professional career.
