About
Your Guitar School (YGS) was founded in Chatham in 2005. Since 2009, YGS has boomed in Blenheim, ON. The school provides private guitar tutoring and focuses on the dedication of the students and their progress. YGS aims to get students playing the music they love in a logical and effective manner. The instructor has 25 years of playing and performing guitar.
Lessons here are customized to the individual. Understanding and mastery of musical notation is encouraged, and students receive tailored lesson material from the start. YGS challenges and encourages students to explore various musical genres that may have influenced the music they like to play. Students will learn about music history and the origins of various genres.
Your Guitar School offers lessons in most musical genres, including rock, classical, country, blues, and metal. Students also have the opportunity to record a song in a professional studio each year to showcase their progress.
