Ron Trueherz is a passionate guitar teacher with years of experience. He began playing guitar at age 7 and studied guitar and composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston. While there, he learned from Pat Metheny’s brother and played in various bands, including one that toured with the Ramones and another that opened for Johnny Winter.

Ron’s teaching approach is influenced by his time at Berklee. He tailors his lesson plans to each student’s individual needs, goals, abilities, and interests. He teaches technique and improvisation, and can also incorporate music theory, ear training, and songwriting.

He teaches ages 8 to 80, from beginner to advanced levels, in both electric and acoustic guitar. Additionally, Ron performs at parties, wedding receptions, restaurants, and clubs, offering a full sound using high fidelity equipment and backing tracks.
