Takoma Music School is located in the heart of Takoma Park and offers private, one-on-one music lessons. Their studio environment is built for artists, and their instructors are trained musicians who are active in the local DMV music scene. They work with students of all ages, including kids, teens, and adults.

Lessons focus on individual attention to help every student find their own connection to music. Teachers guide students to build confidence, create original work, and find their place in the local music community. They offer instruction in guitar, drums, piano, voice, bass, DJing, songwriting, and music production.

Students can get started by booking a 30 or 45 minute intro lesson to meet an instructor. After that, they can sign up for weekly or bi-weekly lesson packages that run on a 4-week cycle. The school is open seven days a week, with hours available in the afternoons and evenings.
