Southland Conservatory of Music

Southland Conservatory of Music operates in Raymore and has focused on music instruction since opening in July 2000. It has grown to include 12 studios and over 25 university trained educators. The team specializes in teaching rather than selling or renting instruments.

Lessons are provided in a private format to ensure each student gets the teacher’s full attention. Educators adapt their style to fit the individual needs of students who range in age from 5 to their 70s. This approach helps the school meet students at their own level and create a path for success.

Students can participate in concerts and recitals at least twice a year to build confidence. The school also offers chances to perform at church services and local events. For a unique experience, voice students can take part in a bi-annual recording project.
