SOUNDS Academy is located in Phoenix and works to empower youth by teaching music and character values. They focus on providing education to underserved communities to help students build a successful future. The organization has won several local and national awards for its work in the community.

Each student learns through a variety of methods including individual lessons, group classes, and ensemble performances. These programs cover different instruments such as guitar, piano, strings, and woodwinds. The instructors focus on teaching five core values which are creativity, leadership, perseverance, resilience, and teamwork.

Many students receive extra support through provided instruments, music books, and other necessary materials. Teachers offer one-on-one mentorship to prepare students for auditions and high-level performances. Those who need financial help can apply for need-based scholarships to assist with the cost of these programs.
