Sean Smith teaches music lessons in Pasadena, CA. He has 33 years of experience playing in bands, writing music, and touring. As a young man, Smith played in punk and indie bands, later focusing on solo finger-style acoustic guitar.

Smith’s lessons cover instrument basics, technique, theory, ear training, and reading music. He prefers to work with music his students enjoy to inspire progress. He personalizes every lesson to make sure his students are feeling inspired.

He offers lessons on multiple instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, and beginning piano/synth. He teaches students of all ages, both in person and online via Zoom. Smith also offers band coaching.
