Richard Sutton Guitar Lessons is located in Whitley Bay. Richard has worked as a professional musician since leaving school and holds a BMus degree in Jazz, Popular, and Commercial Music. Throughout his career, he has toured across the UK and Europe, performing at major venues and festivals. Along with his performance work, he is an experienced teacher for both electric and acoustic guitar.

Lessons focus on creating a clear path for students to follow. This approach helps people avoid feeling overwhelmed by too much information found online. Richard works to build a solid foundation of learning and technique so students can reach their goals. He is also available to help students prepare for graded exams from organizations like Rockschool, Trinity, and ABRSM.

Students can choose between 1 hour, 45 minute, or 30 minute sessions on a one to one basis. These lessons occur at his home studio in Whitley Bay, though he also offers instruction online via Zoom. He holds both public liability insurance and a full DBS check.
