Northfield School of Music provides music lessons in various instruments and voice. Located in the North Shore area, they offer instruction in rock, jazz, band, and orchestra instruments. The school’s director, George Tantchev, has been with Northfield School of Music since 2005. He originally started studying piano and percussion at a young age before receiving multiple degrees in music.
What sets them apart is the experienced faculty. Each instructor holds Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degrees in music and has at least five years of teaching experience. They also perform around Chicago and the North Shore. Mr. Tantchev conducts his Chicago Soloist Orchestra, performing pop, ragtime, and classical hits.
Northfield School of Music provides music lessons in a number of instruments and voice. They offer lessons in drums, guitar, piano, violin, flute, trumpet, viola, oboe, trombone, violoncello, clarinet, tuba, and double bass. They also provide group classes in Jam Drumming and Drums & Musicianship.
