Brian Roughton, founder of Music Academy LLC, brings a deep classical foundation to guitar instruction in Prattville, Alabama. His formative years included studies at the Carver Creative and Performing Arts Center, Stetson University, and the Yale School of Music, establishing a rigorous academic background. Roughton’s comprehensive approach encompasses classical, electric, and acoustic guitar, catering to students from beginner to advanced levels across all age groups.
Opening his private studio in 1998 before expanding to Music Academy in 2009, Roughton has cultivated over 25 years of teaching experience. He is known for fostering a lifelong love of music and instilling effective practice habits, emphasizing sustained engagement and progress.
