Milwaukie School of Guitar is located in downtown Milwaukie and is owned by Matt Krein. Matt has been a music teacher for nearly 20 years and has helped hundreds of students of all ages. The school employs highly experienced instructors, and many of them hold Bachelor or Master degrees in music or education.

Lessons focus on creating a low pressure, rewarding, and fun environment for every student. Instructors teach students at their own pace, whether they are beginners or experienced players looking to improve. The school offers lessons for guitar, piano, voice, ukulele, electric bass, banjo, and mandolin.

Potential students can book a free 30 minute trial lesson to see if the school is a good fit. They offer private weekly lessons in 30 or 60 minute increments, as well as joint and group classes. Students taking private lessons can also receive discounts on group classes.
