Mikey Shine is a professional musician and tutor based in Leicester with over 20 years of industry experience. He is a graduate of Leicester College in Contemporary and Popular Music and has played guitar for 32 years. His career includes performing and recording stints with bands such as Happy Mondays and Black Grape.

Lessons are available for electric, acoustic, and bass guitar for students of all ages and ability levels. Each session is individually tailored to match the musical preferences of the student. He provides help with rhythm and lead guitar, composition, performance mentoring, and stage craft. Students can also use an available recording studio to capture their own work.

These sessions cost £30 per hour and take place in a supportive environment where amplifiers are provided. Mikey Shine is DBS checked and welcomes beginners and experts alike. Whether you want to learn basic chords or improve your professional recording techniques, he offers a structured approach to help you reach your goals.
