About

Melody Makers is an independent music education service based in Colliers Wood, Wimbledon. The team provides private tuition for acoustic and electric guitar, as well as several other instruments, to students across South West London. Collectively, the teachers hold over 30 years of performance experience and more than 20 years of teaching experience.

Lessons focus on a student-centered approach to help every individual learn in a gentle and friendly environment. This style aims to spark a passion for music, whether a student wants to play for fun or prepare for graded examinations. The service offers support for ABRSM, LCME or RGT, and Rockschool syllabuses.

Students have access to regular recording opportunities and annual live performances to showcase their progress. The business also provides exam support for GCSE and A Level Music, along with an online library of resources for families. Every teacher is fully insured, first aid trained, and DBS checked.
