Linford Guitar School is located in Palm Desert and offers private lessons for students ages 13 and up. The instructor, Mark Linford, holds a Master of Music degree and earned his undergraduate degree from the Berklee College of Music. He brings over 40 years of teaching experience at the college and private levels, along with a background of performing many musical styles as a solo artist and with various bands.

Lessons focus on practical applications and real world techniques rather than outdated theories. Mark teaches all skill levels and styles, including rock, jazz, blues, classical, and country. Students can learn rhythm and lead guitar, fingerpicking, music theory, songwriting, and recording principles. His goal is to make every musical journey educational and fun.

Services are available seven days a week by appointment at his home studio. In addition to music instruction for guitar, bass, and ukulele, the facility serves as a recording studio with an isolation booth. Students can schedule one-hour sessions through phone, text, or email.
