Joel Henigson’s musical journey began in Ashland, Oregon, where he started piano at age four. By eight, he discovered the guitar and its ability to inspire creativity. Growing up, Joel explored blues, jazz, classical, and acoustic styles, which built a versatile foundation.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Joel specializes in personalized lessons for piano, guitar, bass, drums, and synth/production. His teaching blends fundamentals, ear training, and expressive playing. He inspires students to find their own musical voices.

Joel offers in-studio, in-home (Portland area), and online lessons. He teaches guitar, piano, bass, and songwriting. His lessons build skills and create great practice habits. In the studio, students learn in a distraction-free environment.
