About

Huntington Guitar Lessons operates out of Huntington Station. The founder, Toby Tobias, brings 40 years of experience to his students. He grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, and he earned a degree in Jazz Composition and Guitar from the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem.

Teaching methods include private or group lessons for both guitar and songwriting. Students can choose to learn in a fully equipped studio or online through Zoom sessions. Toby uses his deep knowledge of American music genres to cover many styles of playing and music theory.

These lessons are available to residents of Huntington and many surrounding areas, such as Northport, Dix Hills, and Melville. Beyond teaching, the instructor performs as a songwriter and bandleader across the region. Interested students can call or email the studio to discuss available lesson plans.
