Great Lakes School of Strings

Great Lakes School of Strings provides violin, viola, and cello instruction in Westland. The school is led by Bradley Foster, an experienced orchestral musician who has performed in many states and across Michigan since childhood. With a background as a first chair concertmaster, he has been teaching music since 2014.

Lessons are customized to meet the specific goals and skill level of each student. Whether a person is a complete beginner or looking to improve, they will receive personalized guidance that covers music reading, proper technique, and rhythm. The teacher is proficient in classical, fiddle, and bluegrass styles, allowing for a fun and focused learning environment for both kids and adults.

Students can sign up for weekly 30-minute private lessons that focus on performance preparation and growth. The monthly rate includes progress guidance to help build confidence and discipline.
