Forest Wilson Guitarist is a professional musician and teacher based in Anchorage, Alaska. He has ten years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. His own musical journey began in high school and continued with a scholarship to the Hornby Island Blues Workshop, where he studied blues, jazz, Americana, and music theory.

Lessons are customized to fit each student’s unique learning style and personal interests. He works with students as young as five years old and welcomes adult learners as well. He teaches a wide variety of styles and technical skills, including sight reading, improvisation, and songwriting.

He offers private and group lessons for guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, ukulele, dobro, and lap steel. These sessions take place Monday through Friday at his studio located at Alaska Music and Sound. He also provides online lessons through platforms like Zoom and Skype for students living outside of the area.
