About

Daniel Quinn is a classical guitarist and teacher based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with over forty years of performing experience and more than thirty-five years teaching guitar. He earned his doctorate in Guitar Performance and Literature from the Indiana University School of Music in 2003.

He has taught at colleges including Indiana University Bloomington (the Jacobs School of Music), the University of St. Francis, the University of Indianapolis, and the Tokyo College of Music. He currently teaches at St. Mary’s College and Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, Indiana University South Bend, and Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, as well as from his home studio in Fort Wayne.

Alongside teaching, he performs actively around Fort Wayne, including with ensembles he helped form such as the Fort Wayne Guitar Quartet and the Indiana Guitar Trio. His lessons suit students who want serious classical guitar instruction from an experienced performer and educator.
