Dean Prater is the founder of Dove Creek Music, located in Round Rock, Texas. He has more than four decades of experience teaching students from California to Texas, with the last 10 years spent in the Austin music community.

his approach involves customized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each student’s goals, pace, and style. He aims to connect with students effectively, helping them grow with confidence.

Dean offers instruction in acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and electric bass. His wide musical interests include praise and worship, bluegrass, pop, rock, country, blues, and jazz. He also works with students on songwriting.
