Desert Moon Music Academy El Paso has served the local music community for over 25 years. Located on North Mesa Street, the school has provided instruction in the area since 1998 and has offered online lessons to students worldwide since 2010. The academy employs teachers who hold university music degrees or have extensive experience in their fields.

Clients can choose from a wide variety of lessons for all ages and skill levels, ranging from beginners to advanced professional students. Each student is matched with an instructor who specializes in their preferred musical style. The academy offers instruction for guitar, bass, piano, drums, voice, and music theory.

Opportunities to perform are available to students through recitals held at least twice a year. Those who study with teachers in the El Paso Music Teachers Association may also participate in various festivals and competitions. The school welcomes adult learners who want to rediscover the joy of making music along with younger students starting as early as age seven for guitar lessons.
