Coeurdalene Guitar Instruction, LLC is based in Coeur d’Alene and led by Daniel Mills. Daniel has 20 years of teaching experience, including time at Northwest Music and Burts Music. He is a classically trained musician who completed the North Idaho College Music program in 1999 and studied under Dr. Paul Grove. Additionally, he wrote the instructional book titled How to Improvise on the Guitar with Scales and Modes, The Son of Brad Method.

Lessons are available for beginners starting at 7 years old and for advanced players. Daniel uses his deep knowledge of theory and technique to teach rock, jazz, classical, and country styles. He also offers guidance for students who want to sing while playing or those interested in Christian and worship music. Some of his former students have earned music scholarships or become professional performers.

Prospective students can take advantage of a free first lesson to see if the program is a good fit. Daniel brings real world experience to his teaching as a performer who plays over one hundred nights per year under the name Son of Brad. He has opened for many famous acts and enjoys helping all his students move from beginners to experts.
