Chris Phelps is a musician, teacher, and composer who teaches guitar lessons in Spokane, Washington. He has been playing guitar for over 30 years and has experience in a variety of styles including blues, classical, funk, grunge, jazz, metal, and rock. He also plays piano and composes music for a variety of ensembles. He also teaches music theory and song writing.

Chris’s lessons include a practice plan and music the students look forward to practicing. All necessary materials, including a notebook and sheet music, are provided during the lessons. He uses a wide range of sheet music and guitar methods to answer questions, providing specific musical examples from famous songs. Chris can help with transcribing songs.

He offers music instruction in guitar, theory, composition, songwriting and music production. Styles taught include both acoustic and electric guitar. Chris currently has a full schedule and is only taking students from his waiting list.
