Chris Murphy Music is based in the S10 area of Sheffield and offers lessons for acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, as well as the ukulele. Chris has played guitar for over 35 years and brings a wealth of touring and gigging experience to his instruction. He holds a diploma in teaching electric guitar and an associate diploma in teaching acoustic guitar from the London College of Music.

Lessons began for him in January 2008 and are mostly conducted on a one-to-one basis. He welcomes students of all skill levels, whether they are picking up an instrument for the first time or returning to it after many years. The format is designed to be accessible for everyone, regardless of their previous musical history.

Instruction is available in person or through online platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams. New students can take advantage of a taster deal that offers two 45 minute sessions for 30 pounds. Interested players can contact him through his website to book a session.
