Chris Friesen Music Lessons

Chris Friesen is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in St. Boniface, Winnipeg, with over ten years of teaching experience. He teaches guitar, bass, banjo, and ukulele through private lessons at his home studio, in-home visits, and online. Chris specializes in teaching creativity and improvisation — even to complete beginners. He believes music is a language learned through exploration, not just copying and correcting, and his goal is to give students the skills and understanding to teach themselves. He works with adults and children as young as 6, and also offers specialized fingerpicking instruction and a homeschool music program for small groups.
