Cathy Winter Music and Guitar Lessons provides instruction based in Schenectady for students of all levels. Cathy is an experienced professional guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and recording artist who has played the instrument since age 13. She brings this deep musical background to every session to help her students succeed.

Learning takes place either in person or remotely through Zoom. These sessions are tailored to fit each student’s specific musical path. Cathy makes it a priority to help people play the music they love, whether they are adults or children.

Students can expect to improve their playing while learning how to write songs or perform in solo and group settings. She enjoys teaching beginners and intermediate players while using both traditional and contemporary styles. Her goal is to ensure that everyone enjoys the process of learning the guitar.
