Black River Music Studio is run by Arthur, a multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto, Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Toronto and is currently working toward a Bachelor of Education at York University. With over fifteen years of experience playing the guitar, Arthur teaches students ranging from children aged six and older to adults.

Lessons are customized to match the unique interests and goals of each student. While Arthur helps his students learn the specific songs and styles they enjoy, he also focuses on building a strong musical foundation. His teaching method includes essential skills like reading tabs and chords, ear training, improvisation, and song-writing.

Instructors at this studio offer lessons for acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and ukulele in a variety of styles such as pop, blues, rock, indie, and folk. Students can choose to learn at his studio in Etobicoke, his home near the University of Toronto, or online through a webcam. Lessons are available in lengths of 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
