Billings Childbloom Guitar Program

About

Devin Matthews is the Director of Billings Childbloom Guitar Program. She was inspired to learn guitar as a child by her grandfather. She studied with guitarist John McClellan at Webster University in St. Louis and with Olivier Chassain at the Paris Conservatory.

Devin teaches using the Childbloom program, a curriculum that focuses on high-skill guitar technique and music reading. The program starts with imitation and repetition to develop coordination and correct posture. As students get better, they learn to read music.

She offers guitar lessons for kids using the Childbloom method. Devin is also available to play at weddings, restaurants, and social events in Montana.
