About
Art City Sound is a full-service audio recording studio that welcomes musicians of all levels. They specialize in recording a variety of instruments, especially acoustic drums, and are equipped to handle full band projects as well as singer-songwriters. The studio has worked on diverse projects, including ‘Book on CD’ recordings.
The studio offers a comprehensive array of services to bring audio projects to life. These include tracking, editing, mixing, mastering, production, instrumentation, orchestration, and arrangement. With three tracking rooms—a live room, a dry room, and a vocal booth—all purpose-built for audio recording, musicians can capture their music in an ideal setting.
Art City Sound uses top-of-the-line tools for editing and mixing, such as Presonus Studio One software and Waves and Native Instruments plugins. This ensures mixes sound great across various genres. The studio is equipped to record all kinds of instruments, but excels in recording acoustic drum kits. The DW Performance-series maple drum kit, complete with Sabian, Zildjian, and Paiste cymbals, is always properly tuned, mic’ed up, and ready for any recording session.
