Garcia Music Academy is a local studio based in Downers Grove. The instructor, Zyan, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. She has taught private piano lessons since 2005 and spent six years teaching in a classroom setting.

Teaching methods at the academy focus on helping students progress quickly through music reading fluency. Zyan teaches music theory and technique through new pieces each week. She ensures that all music is learned during the lesson to make practice at home easier for students.
