CJP Music Studio

About

CJP Music Studio is located in Woodthorpe, just north of Nottingham. The studio is run by Chris Pidgeon, who holds Grade 8 qualifications in both classical guitar and percussion. He is a member of the Musicians Union and provides a professional, safe, and relaxed environment for students of all ages.

Classes cover a wide range of instruments, including acoustic, electric, and nylon-strung Spanish classical guitar. Students can also learn bass guitar, drums, percussion, and music theory. Chris works with everyone from complete beginners to experienced players, and he can help with formal music exams if requested.

Every session focuses on building the correct foundations for technique and posture while keeping the experience fun. Chris offers an informal meeting for new students to ensure they feel comfortable before starting lessons. He focuses on a structured approach that moves at the speed of the student.
