DH1 Guitar Tutor is a professional teaching service based in Durham and run by Chris. He has been a full-time guitar teacher since finishing his university degree in 2005. He is fully CRB checked and serves as a registered tutor with the Registry of Guitar Tutors.

Lessons take place in a home studio and are available both in person and online. Chris works with students of all ages and ability levels to help them improve their skills. He follows the London College syllabus for those who wish to take examinations.

Beginner, intermediate, and advanced students receive customized instruction based on their specific needs. Topics range from basic fretboard skills and riffs to complex music theory, songwriting, and sight reading. In addition to lessons, the business provides guitar repair and maintenance services.
