Instructors are chosen through a careful vetting process, which includes an RCMP criminal record check, to confirm their background and teaching skills. These teachers work with students of all ages starting at five years old. They adapt to the needs of each student, whether they are total beginners or preparing for upcoming music exams.

Lessons cover a variety of styles such as jazz, pop, rock, classical, blues, and folk. The staff offers instruction for many instruments, including guitar, piano, bass, drums, violin, and voice. Students also have the chance to perform for a live audience during two complimentary recitals held every year.
