Thorne Guitar Tuition is an Albert Park music school led by Robert Thorne. Robert is an accredited teacher and a professional musician with over 25 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree and has played lead guitar for many top Australian blues artists.

Lessons focus on practical playing skills alongside important music theory. Students spend most of their time actively playing the guitar instead of just talking about the instrument. The school specializes in contemporary styles like rock, blues, and slide guitar on both acoustic and electric instruments.

Flexible options are available to suit student needs, including group lessons and online sessions via platforms like Zoom, Skype, and FaceTime. These digital lessons allow students to learn from the comfort of their own homes using shared manuscripts and video segments. People of all ages are welcome to study at the studio.
