About

Columbia Guitar Studio is a professional school for music instruction located in Columbia, Maryland. David Reynolds has directed the studio since 1986, teaching students of all ages and skill levels. The studio provides lessons for locals in the community as well as those from surrounding Maryland counties.

Lessons are private and customized to meet the needs of each individual student. Instructors teach many different styles, including classical, acoustic, blues, rock, and jazz. Along with guitar, they offer instruction on bass, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele. Beginners, children, and advanced players are all welcome to join the program.

Students can choose to take their lessons in person or online. The studio focuses on building a roadmap for success through proper technique and study. They also host student recitals and provide a supportive environment for those who want to improve their playing at any age.
