Colin Daniel is a guitar instructor in Abbotsford, BC with over 45 years of playing experience and more than 5,000 students taught in person. His teaching approach is unlike traditional lessons — students learn while playing live in their own jam band, making the experience fun, practical, and immediately rewarding. Once a week, you get together with Colin and a couple other folks for a three-hour jam session at his studio. You’ll be a member of a functioning band, playing songs the group enjoys, taking real solos, and getting the kind of quality experience on guitar that is incredibly hard to find. Colin specializes in blues, rock, and acoustic styles, and has taught thousands more students through his popular online platform RiffNinja.com, which features over 100 hours of video courses. He’s played in more bands than he can remember, recorded albums of music, and collaborated with students on several projects. Known for his warm, patient teaching style and folksy humor, Colin makes every student feel like they can pick up the guitar and start making music right away.
