Block Academy Music

About

Block Academy of Music is located in Gold River and provides guitar lessons for all ages and skill levels. Its mission is to offer clear insight and positive support to every student. The teachers use their experience and attention to detail to help students overcome challenges while keeping the learning process fun.

Every new student begins with a 5-week private intro course that includes weekly 30-minute sessions. This course covers basic concepts like simple melodies, chords, and music notation. Students are also given a personal skill assessment and gain access to digital music libraries and study materials.

Lessons continue with private instruction after the intro course, though some students may join weekly group lessons or workshops like the Blues class. Beyond individual lessons, the academy offers a band class for children and teenagers. This program allows young musicians to learn instruments, perform live, and build teamwork skills with others.
