Jay Scott Guitar offers private guitar and bass lessons in West Chester, PA. He has been playing for over 50 years. Besides lessons, Jay also runs jam camps, and offers guitar building and repair services. <\/p>\n
Jay tailors his teaching to each student’s needs. He helps students learn the music they enjoy while building skills and knowledge. Jay stresses the fundamentals and helps students find their best path to becoming competent musicians. He works with students to improve their ear training, music theory, reading and transcription, and songwriting.<\/p>\n
He teaches many musical styles on both acoustic and electric guitar. He teaches all levels, from beginner to professional. He also teaches electric bass.<\/p>\n
Jay runs a Jam Camp program to assist students in gaining experience playing with other musicians. He also teaches people how to assemble Fender-style electric guitars and basses.
